A legacy of butter, sugar, and a whole lot of heart.
What’s in a name?
Before Sweet N’ Savi was a bustling celebration shop, it was just Krista at the kitchen counter, standing on a stool, elbows deep in flour beside her grandmothers—Sarah and Viola. They didn’t just pass down recipes… they passed down memories. Like Krista sneaking bites of fruitcake at Mamaw’s (Sarah’s) counter. Or baking chess pies with Granny (Viola), who swore no dessert was complete without a little extra sugar and butter.
The name “Sweet N’ Savi” is our way of keeping those grandmothers with us—SArah and VIola. It's also a reminder that everything we bake is rooted in family, celebration, and just a little Southern sass. The best part about the name? It just feels like home.
It’s a family affair.
Ask anyone in the family what their favorite dessert is, and there’s a good chance you’ll hear “chess pie.” It’s iconic in our kitchen—and in our hearts. (Hot take: Krista loves it best cold, straight from the fridge. Speaking of the fridge — her mom loves Krista’s buttercream icing recipe so much, she keeps a stash of it in the refrigerator for a sweet bite every now and then.)
These days, Krista runs the shop alongside her daughter Kaitlyn—who brings her own sweet tooth to the table (pineapple upside-down cake, anyone?). What started as a specialty wedding cake business has grown into a one-stop celebration shop: birthday cakes, cookie cakes, gifting goodies, party essentials and everything in between.
As a family, we’re known for turning even the smallest things into a celebration. Whether it’s gathering for a holiday, birthday or nothing at all, you can bet you’ll find sweet treats and “savi” stories of the women who shaped us. And after all, they’re the ones who taught us that every moment—big or small—deserves something sweet.

“From the moment you walk through the doors of Sweet N’ Savi, you feel like part of their family.
The sweets are (literally) just the icing on the cake.”
